"Don't think we're not keeping score, brother." That's what President Barack Obama said to Rep. Peter DeFazio (D-OR) in a closed-door meeting of the House Democratic Caucus last week, according to the Associated Press.
This must be what Obama meant by bringing a new kind of politics to Washington. Between this intimidating quip along with “We won” and “I would not be listening to Rush Limbaugh,” Obama is expressing a new politic is Washington. It is thuggery. It is intimidation. It is new in Washington.
Is this the “change” you voted for?
What is amazing is that all DeFazio, a Democrat, did to receive the ire of Obama was to vote against the stimulus bill. This bullying was not needed since Obama had all the votes he need for it pass.
So, why would he be concerned about a Congressman from Oregon? It is strange unless you don’t read between the lines. Remember Obama is a narcissist. Think how Nixon or Clinton handled traitors like this. A narcissist won’t tolerate dissension within their ranks. The narcissist must control of everything and everyone and have everything meet their reality.
So, Obama and others will be attacking anyone who dissents from the Democrat’s Marxist agenda. Party affiliation is irrelevant. They will not tolerate it. They are arrogant and drunk with power and want complete assimulation of everyone to thier backward idelogy.
Along with this direct intimidation, the Democrats are working with many Leftist groups to attack their own along with the GOP. Obama is using the tactics of Mussolini, Hitler, and Lenin to keep everyone on the Party line. He has his “brown shirts” pushing his agenda all over the country. If one must use this much muscle to promote an agenda to convince its citizenry, then there must be something wrong with it, especially when after all this thuggery, the People still are not convinced and are against it.

Deputy Chief of Staff Jim Messina has collaborated with Americans United for Change on strategy and even ad copy. Ms. Jarrett invited leaders of the liberal interest groups to a White House social event with the president and first lady to kick off the lobbying campaign.”
Obama is still campaigning and pushing his agenda, because no one is buying it. Reagan and G.W. Bush did not have “brown shirts” or did not have to do all this propaganda. The People are not “drones,” lemmings, or disciples. This is why the Founders gave us the power and not a few elitists. It is quite evident with the Tea Parties and the polls.

Obama's Spending Nearing the U.S. Total GDP
Tax and spend Liberals are living up to their name. On Bloomberg.com, there is a story, “Financial Rescue Nears GDP as Pledges Top $12.8 trillion”, that shows that Congress and Obama has spent $12.8 trillion this year. THIS YEAR!
I, as mentioned in Obama is Worried about Deficits NOW? , the obligated debt is going to be $65 trillion. This exceeds the WORLD’s GDP. The $12.8 trillion they have spent this year is just shy for our total GDP or $14.2 trillion for last year.
One problem. Obama has not finalized his budget. The Congress Budget Office (CBO) said the Obama budget will generate deficits that are “unsustainable.” In that budget, he wants universal healthcare, cap and trade, and other spending programs. At this rate, they will surpass our total GDP for next year. That is like you walking into Wal-Mart and spending more than your yearly pay in one visit, thinking it will help help you get out of debt.
What does this mean? Well, this spending destroys our economy. It destroys the value of the dollar. It destroys our interest rates. It destroys the fabric our financial system. These outrageous deficits will, not may, WILL generate massive inflation and destroy our country.
This spending is not just irresponsible and dangerous, but Un-American.
This is all intentional. The inflation is not that is just the unintentional consequence that Liberals cannot and will not see. The reason for this spending is to create programs and massive debt, so that the government will never be able to cut taxes or lesson its size and therefore its power.
After the People become intoxicated from all these entitlements and the nanny state, the government will be able to do as it wishes, since the People will only want to end their handouts from the State.
Unknowingly, the People in order to have their entitlements, they must give up freedoms, liberties, and property for them. As Benjamin Franklin said, “When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic.”
We must stop this intoxication with educating these lemmings that do not understand the ramifications of handing over so much power to the State. The power given to the State is almost impossible to take back, so we cannot give it to them in the first place.

Taliban Threatens to Attack Washington
Obama changed the name of “terrorists.” Obama changed the name of the “War on Terror.” Obama changed the name of “terrorist attack.” The enemy not only did not get the memo, but they directly threatened the U.S.
However, this time it was neither Iran nor Al-Qaeda. It was the Taliban.
The same Taliban that Obama want to negotiate with and discuss concessions. Obama wanted to talk with the “moderate” Taliban. One problem. The naïve, inexperienced Obama did not know that there aren’t any “moderate” Taliban. In order to part of the Taliban, one must be a radical Muslim, like the ones that murdered innocent Afghans and support Al-Quaeda.
So, the leader of the Taliban said, "Soon we will launch an attack in Washington that will amaze everyone in the world."
Now, that sounds like moderate Muslim that can be talked with.
This threat is nothing new from these radicals. It is new for Obama, and, hopefully, the Administration handles these threats effectively for our sake.
This does show that no matter what you call it our enemies are still at war with us. This, also, shows you cannot talk to them or use any sort of diplomacy. These enemies must be destroyed. Hopefully, Obama starts to take this war seriously and stop playing the name game and take the fight to them before we lose a city to a “TERRORIST ATTACK.”

The United States has put a $5 million bounty on his head, and he says militants under his control are planning a terrorist attack in Washington that "will amaze everyone in the world."
And he isn't Usama bin Laden.
Baitullah Mehsud, commander of the Taliban in Pakistan, told The Associated Press in an interview Tuesday that his group was responsible for Monday's attack on a police academy in his country that killed seven police officers and injured more than 90 others.
He also said, chillingly:
"Soon we will launch an attack in Washington that will amaze everyone in the world."
In an interview with local Dewa Radio, which was obtained by The Associated Press, Mehsud identified the White House as one of the targets.
FBI spokesman Richard Kolko told FOXNews.com that the bureau is not aware of a specific or imminent threat to the United States. He added, without elaborating, that Mehsud has made similar threats to the U.S.
But terrorism experts call Mehsud a "rising young star" who is linked both to the December 2007 assassination of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto and the bombing last September that killed 54 people in the Marriott hotel in Islamabad -- and they say his threat to carry out an attack in Washington should not be discounted.
"It should be taken seriously because [Mehsud] has ordered the deaths of many Pakistanis and Afghans and has a close alliance with Al Qaeda," said James Phillips, a terrorism expert and senior research fellow for Middle Eastern Affairs at the Heritage Foundation.
"It's not too much of a stretch to think he might be involved in an attack on the U.S. if he's able to get his followers inside the United States. He's a militant extremist whose threats cannot be ignored."
Mehsud, 35, is the senior leader of Tehrik-e-Taliban, or the Taliban Movement of Pakistan, and is a key Al Qaeda facilitator in the tribal areas of South Waziristan in Pakistan, according to the U.S. State Department. A $5 million reward for information leading to his arrest and conviction was announced just last week.
"He has conducted cross-border attacks against U.S. forces in Afghanistan, and poses a clear threat to American persons and interests in the region," the State Department wrote in a March 25 release.
Phillips said Mehsud is less of a direct threat to the U.S. than bin Laden in an ideological sense, but his influence in Pakistan could allow him to tap into existing networks within Al Qaeda or among Afghan Taliban militants to achieve his goals.
"The U.S. government and other allied governments cannot afford to ignore this threat because [Mehsud] has acted on targets in the past," Phillips said. "Because he has a relatively secure base of operations in South Waziristan, he has been able to extend his influence throughout the border region and even into Pakistani cities."
Steve Emerson, executive director of The Investigative Project on Terrorism, said that of the many terrorists who have issued "blustery threats" in recent years, Meshud is considered a "rising young star" among militants.
"He's a dangerous guy," Emerson told FOXNews.com. "It just reaffirms the fact that Washington is a major target.
"He seems to be a pretty bloody, bold guy who is not afraid to have a marker on himself and knows how to exact publicity ... The real issue is what U.S. intelligence knows."
Malou Innocent, a foreign policy analyst at the Cato Institute, said Mehsud's attacks have "significantly altered" the political dynamics in Pakistan and provide a major test for President Asif Ali Zardari. But any direct threat Mehsud poses to the United States will be through his link with Al Qaeda, she said.
"If he did have the reach, it would be because of Al Qaeda," she said. "This is more posturing on his behalf."
Mehsud, who denies involvement in Bhutto's assassination and the Marriott Hotel bombing, is a diabetic who was reportedly called a "good Taliban" in 2007, when the Pakistani army struck a peace agreement with him that was later aborted.
Mehsud has said he's not concerned with the bounty on his head, telling The Associated Press, "I wish to die and embrace martyrdom."
"That shows that he is adamantly committed to his extremist goals and is unlikely to be brought to justice by law enforcement actions," Phillips said. 'It will take a war to defeat him in South Waziristan, and I think that shows that the term War on Terrorism remains applicable there."
A State Department spokeswoman, Megan Mattson, declined to comment on Mehsud's threat.

Gitmo Detainess Could Be Jailed in Virginia
It is apparent that Obama is making preparations to close Gitmo. It was discussed that some of the detainees will be released into the U.S. Now, it is being planned that 460 inmates will be moved to a maximum security jail in Virginia.
This is a huge problem. Gitmo was created to keep the enemy combatants away from American soil and the civilian court system. At the time, U.S. Supreme Court precedent was that if the prisons were not in the U.S. then the civilan courts did not have jurisidication.
The Court changed that but it is still a debate if they can bring their cases in civilan courts. If these terrorists are housed in our prisions, then the debate is mute and they can began filing cases in our court system.
Why is this a problem?
They were captured in war. They have been questioned under the rules of war. These are different that criminal cases. Most of the evidence used in a war tribunal would not admissible in our criminal courts. In other words, we could not present a case to detain or jail them. They could possibly go free and then go back to the battlefield or worse stay here.

A Virginia jail could be the next home for Guantanamo Bay inmates.
The maximum security jail in Alexandria, Va. -- home to approximately 460 inmates -- is under contract to take federal inmates who are tried at the courthouse just a few blocks away.
Among them could be former Al Qaeda operatives detained in Guantanamo Bay like Abu Zubaydah, Al Qaeda's operations chief, or Abd Al-Nashiri, the alleged planner of the U.S.S. Cole attack, Alexandria sheriff Dana Lawhorne told FOX News.
"We are a maximum security jail, so the answer is yes," Lawhorne said when asked about the possibility that Gitmo detainees could be transferred to the jail.
Lawhorne said that although most inmates are booked at city jail on local charges, Al Qaeda operative Zacarias Moussaoui was detained there in a separate unit on the third floor for five years.
Lawhorne said he and his team were given specific instructions for Moussaoui's imprisonment, which included no contact with television, radio, or other inmates.
"He had to be isolated. He could not be within earshot -- of television, radios, and other people. It takes a lot of space to accomplish that," Lawhorne said.
The jail, built in 1987, is surrounded by condominiums, government offices, and a luxury hotel just a few hundred feet from the courthouse door.
In a letter sent to Attorney General Eric Holder two weeks ago, Virginia Rep. Frank Wolf, a Republican, inquired about the housing and handling of detainees at Alexandria's jail because he said all signs indicate that Gitmo detainees will be transferred there.
Holder's office has not yet responded, according to Wolf.

Obama Acts like a Marxist
After watching Obama fire the CEO of General Motors, the first thing that needs to be asked is where did he acquire the power. Flipping through the Constitution, that particular power is not there for the Executive Branch. It is not in the Legislative either. So, it is safe to say Obama violated the Constitution when he fired Rick Wagoner.
However, what is lost in the debate is what is really going on. The government just told Chrysler to work a buyout with Fiat and fired the CEO of GM. This is unprecedented overreaching of authority, which no one in government has. The government is telling banks what to do. They are controlling insurance companies. The question must be asked what is Obama, Congress and Democratic Party doing. Is there so motive to why they are moving so fast and attacking the liberties they are attacking.
Obama has been called a Marxist. You get a great lesson from the American Thinker. This is based on what he is saying and the policies he is supporting and that are passing in Congress. Since becoming President, the government has attacked the following rights:
1st Amendment with suggesting the Fairness Doctrine
2nd Amendment with suggesting the assault weapon ban and many other regulations
4th Amendment with attacks on privacy and probable cause
9th Amendment with everything they are doing
10th Amendment with the passing of the Stimulus Bill that tells states what to do and rewrites their Constitution
13th Amendment with the passing to Obama Youth Bill (GIVE Act). It amounts to slavery
And…the list goes on and on…
When the actions of the government in the last 50 some days are presented this way, it obvious they are trashing the Constitution and the People’s liberties. But, what is their plan. I have been saying that Obama is following a playbook. Whose could be debated.

JOBS AND ECONOMIC SECURITY
-Support the Employee Free Choice Act to allow workers to gain union representation without harassment or recrimination.
-Create living wage, union jobs with a massive program to rebuild the bridges, schools, water treatment plants, and parks of our nation, while sending funds to cities and states to fully staff education, childcare, health care and other peoples’ needs.
-Special measures for federal spending and job creation in the African American and Latino communities where jobless rates are up to twice as high because of overt and institutional racism.
-Expand aid and job creation in rural areas with disproportionately high unemployment.
-Protect family farmers with price supports and no curtailment of subsidies.
-Expand federal funding of youth jobs, vocational and apprenticeship programs and higher education especially geared toward low income and racially oppressed youth.
-Raise the minimum wage to living wage standards taking into account cost of housing and other essentials.
-Provide adequate federal funding to cities and towns for first responders and emergency personnel.
HEALTH, EDUCATION AND WELFARE
-Access to reproductive health care for young women. Expand funding for HIV/AIDS prevention programs.
-Equal, Quality Public Education
-Enact the DREAM Act and Student Adjustment Act to increase access to education for immigrants.
-Increase Pell Grants. Repeal provisions that deny funds to students with drug convictions.
-Social Safety Net
-Extend unemployment compensation to include entire time without a job.
-No privatization of Social Security or Medicare. Use the Social Security surplus to increase benefits instead of funding the Bush tax cuts and war in Iraq. Protect retirement funds.
-Restore and expand the social safety net for women and children and victims of economic dislocation. Emergency measures to end child poverty.
-Expand Section 8 and other affordable housing measures. Federal funding of construction and maintenance of housing for working class families.
END RACISM, DISCRIMINATION AND BIGOTRY – FOR FULL EQUALITY
-Enforce and expand affirmative action to end racism and achieve equality in jobs, housing, health care, education (including university admissions), and all areas of life.
-Outlaw racial profiling. Enact federal hate crime legislation.
-Alternative sentencing for non-violent crimes. Abolish the death penalty.
-Enact the SOLVE ACT (HR 4264/SB 238)to fulfill the goals of the Immigrant Workers
-Freedom Ride including a clear path to citizenship, equal rights on the job and civil liberties protections.
-End the wage gap for women. Equal pay for equal work. Reject efforts to repeal Roe V. Wade which would restrict women’s reproductive rights.
-Reject the Bush proposed Marriage amendment to the Constitution which would prohibit gay marriages. End discrimination because of sexual orientation.

-Bring the troops home from Iraq. US out, UN in. Full funding for veterans benefits.
-Support HR 690 for a full investigation into prison abuses in Iraq, especially at Abu Ghraib.
-End the policy of pre-emptive war, war without end and world domination and occupation. Foreign policy based on cooperation and negotiations utilizing the United Nations.
-Stop procurement and testing of nuclear weapons. Stop deployment of nuclear weapons to outer space.
-End the harmful buildup of the military budget. Transfer funds to human needs.
-Repeal NAFTA and negotiate enforceable labor and environmental rights into the body of all new agreements.
-Support Department of Peace as cabinet level position.
-Remove military recruiters from public schools and campuses. Require parental agreement before students names are given to the military.
-End the policy of promoting regime change in Cuba, Venezuela and other countries. End support for repressive governments around the world.
PRESERVE AND PROTECT OUR ENVIRONMENT
-Protect our natural resources. Repeal the Healthy Forests and Clear Skies acts. Prosecute corporate polluters.
-Develop renewable clean energy alternatives.

When you look at the centralization of credit in the hands of the State, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly and the centralization of the means of communication and transport in the hands of the State, you see what they just did with the banks and car companies.
So, we can see whose playbook the Democrats are using. The Communists! Karl Marx's! You can find comparisons with countless Democratic policies and these platforms.
We are at a crossroads in history where are society and freedoms are under assault like no other time in our history from the enemy within. We must not go into that that darkness of Marxism, Fascism, and tyranny. We must stand up and pronounce we, the People, have the power and not the government before we no longer can.
However, what is lost in the debate is what is really going on. The government just told Chrysler to work a buyout with Fiat and fired the CEO of GM. This is unprecedented overreaching of authority, which no one in government has. The government is telling banks what to do. They are controlling insurance companies. The question must be asked what is Obama, Congress and Democratic Party doing. Is there so motive to why they are moving so fast and attacking the liberties they are attacking.
Obama has been called a Marxist. You get a great lesson from the American Thinker. This is based on what he is saying and the policies he is supporting and that are passing in Congress. Since becoming President, the government has attacked the following rights:
1st Amendment with suggesting the Fairness Doctrine
2nd Amendment with suggesting the assault weapon ban and many other regulations
4th Amendment with attacks on privacy and probable cause
9th Amendment with everything they are doing
10th Amendment with the passing of the Stimulus Bill that tells states what to do and rewrites their Constitution
13th Amendment with the passing to Obama Youth Bill (GIVE Act). It amounts to slavery
And…the list goes on and on…
When the actions of the government in the last 50 some days are presented this way, it obvious they are trashing the Constitution and the People’s liberties. But, what is their plan. I have been saying that Obama is following a playbook. Whose could be debated.

JOBS AND ECONOMIC SECURITY
-Support the Employee Free Choice Act to allow workers to gain union representation without harassment or recrimination.
-Create living wage, union jobs with a massive program to rebuild the bridges, schools, water treatment plants, and parks of our nation, while sending funds to cities and states to fully staff education, childcare, health care and other peoples’ needs.
-Special measures for federal spending and job creation in the African American and Latino communities where jobless rates are up to twice as high because of overt and institutional racism.
-Expand aid and job creation in rural areas with disproportionately high unemployment.
-Protect family farmers with price supports and no curtailment of subsidies.
-Expand federal funding of youth jobs, vocational and apprenticeship programs and higher education especially geared toward low income and racially oppressed youth.
-Raise the minimum wage to living wage standards taking into account cost of housing and other essentials.
-Provide adequate federal funding to cities and towns for first responders and emergency personnel.
HEALTH, EDUCATION AND WELFARE
-Access to reproductive health care for young women. Expand funding for HIV/AIDS prevention programs.
-Equal, Quality Public Education
-Enact the DREAM Act and Student Adjustment Act to increase access to education for immigrants.
-Increase Pell Grants. Repeal provisions that deny funds to students with drug convictions.
-Social Safety Net
-Extend unemployment compensation to include entire time without a job.
-No privatization of Social Security or Medicare. Use the Social Security surplus to increase benefits instead of funding the Bush tax cuts and war in Iraq. Protect retirement funds.
-Restore and expand the social safety net for women and children and victims of economic dislocation. Emergency measures to end child poverty.
-Expand Section 8 and other affordable housing measures. Federal funding of construction and maintenance of housing for working class families.
END RACISM, DISCRIMINATION AND BIGOTRY – FOR FULL EQUALITY
-Enforce and expand affirmative action to end racism and achieve equality in jobs, housing, health care, education (including university admissions), and all areas of life.
-Outlaw racial profiling. Enact federal hate crime legislation.
-Alternative sentencing for non-violent crimes. Abolish the death penalty.
-Enact the SOLVE ACT (HR 4264/SB 238)to fulfill the goals of the Immigrant Workers
-Freedom Ride including a clear path to citizenship, equal rights on the job and civil liberties protections.

Obama Has a New Radical Spiritual Adviser
Obama has been President for over 50 days, and he is proving that his associations with known radicals, like Rev. Wright, Bill Ayers, Frank Marshall Davis, etc, is the basis for his world-view and political views. Now, you would think, as President, he would be careful whom he would associate with to dispel the rumors from the Right that Obama is a Socialist.
Obama is displaying his narcissism again. Obama is openly seeking spiritual guidance from Jim Wallis, who is the founder of Sojourners. Wallis claims to be moderate, but as most Leftists radicals from the 1960s, this is only a charade to mask their Communist tendencies. It still amazes me how these radicals have to lie about who they are and Conservatives have no problem expressing who they are and what they stand for, but I digress.
A story on FrontPageMagazine.com, Barack Obama’s Newest Spiritual Advisor, explains who Wallis is and is a serious eye opener on his appalling Leftist views. It amazes me how arrogant Obama is in seeking Wallis’s guidance as President, knowing people are going to investigate Wallis. This, also, shows that Obama is comfortable with associating with Communists. He obviously doesn’t have a problem with it until the media does, such as Rev. Wright.
This brings up Black liberation theology, again. Wallis embraces this Leftist religion that pushes Socialism, class warfare, and racism, i.e. Rev Wright’s now famous sermons. So, Obama threw Wright under the bus after the media finally exposed him, but then he chooses another Leftist spiritual advisor who endorses those same views. This is quite different from Ayers and Wright situation. Obama could make so many excuses for them. Obama really cannot here. Obama cannot say he doesn’t know Wallis’s views. They are all over his magazine. Obama cannot say he wasn’t there for his sermons, because Obama asked for his advice.
I guess this just shows Obama is not afraid to show who is. It is just the mainstream media won’t expose the radical side of our own President. I guess talk radio, bloggers, and others are going to have to drag them kicking and screaming to the truth again. I would think this is newsworthy, since our President is seeking guidance from a known and admitted Communist, during a time when some many are saying that our country is being dragged to the Left and to Socialism.

Obama Wants to Release Gitmo Detainees into U.S.
Obama has renamed the enemy combatant. He has renamed terrorist attack. He has renamed the War on Terror. He has closed Gitmo. Now…he wants to release some Gitmo detainees into the U.S. and give them “assistance.”
First, what kind of assistance are they talking about? So, we are going to give taxpayer’s money to terrorists to start a new life in country they want to destroy.
That is irony. This is just wrong.
Just when we thought the government had gone to far and we were furious, they do this. The Tea Parties just took on a whole other dimension.
Next, the Administration claims these are terrorists that have been cleared but cannot find countries to take them. First, that is lie. Ireland and some other European countries have agreed to take some. One of the groups that Obama says is safe are 17 Chinese Uighurs.
Who are Uighurs? They were mostly new recruits at the time of their capture. They are all affiliated with and/or members of a designated terrorist organization, received training at a training camp in the al Qaeda/Taliban stronghold of Tora Bora, and have admitted that two known terrorists trained them. And, on top of that, the group that trained them threatened to attack the Olympic Games in China last year. Sound safe to you?
If Obama claims they are safe, who else are they releasing into the U.S. and giving them our money?

"If we are to release them in the United States, we need some sort of assistance for them to start a new life," said National Intelligence Director Dennis Blair at his first press conference.
"You can't just put them on the street," he added. "All that is work in progress."

Twenty men detained at the remote US naval base at Guantanamo Bay in southern Cuba have been cleared of terrorism charges, including 17 Chinese Uighurs ordered released by a US court in June, seven years after their arrest. But the US says they may face persecution if returned to China.
In an executive order signed days after he took office in January, Obama also promised to uphold the Geneva Conventions for the remaining prisoners until the detention center is closed.
Blair touched on the controversial interrogation techniques used on terror suspects under the administration of president George W. Bush, saying that those methods -- including waterboarding, or simulated drowning -- would not be used under his tenure.
But Blair, a retired US admiral, added that his team was examining other "enhanced interrogation techniques" for high-value detainees that comply with international conventions on prisoners of war.
He did not elaborate on what methods would be used, but said such interrogations should be carried out by "government employees; they shouldn't be contractors; they should be highly trained, very supervised."

Obama Renames the War on Terror
On the Washington Post, there is story about Obama change another term about terrorism
Political correctness has reared its ugly head again. A few weeks ago, it was reported that the term “enemy combatant” is no longer permitted. Now, the term “Global War on Terror” is no longer permitted. The Obama administration will now use the term “Overseas Contingency Operation.”
I guess the war has changed and needs a new term. Maybe, the Islamic terrorists have changed. No. The President has changed and their philosophy of what terrorism has changed.
Clinton treated Islamic terrorism as a legal issue and not a war issue. Clinton tried to capture, try, and jail terrorists. He did this while they declared war on the U.S. and attacked us. They bombed the World Trade Centers with a Ryder truck. They bombed embassies in Tanzania and Kenya. They bombed the USS Cole.
After 911, Bush changed this policy and declared war on Islamic terrorism and fought back against them. He started to kill terrorists all over the world. He attacked and killed them in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, and all over Africa. There are probably other missions that we don’t even know about. During this time, the U.S. has not been attacked. There have been attempts, but no successful attacks.
Now, Obama is changing the philosophy again, except we really don’t know what his philosophy is. Most likely, it is going to revert to mostly what Clinton did and try to downplay and capitulate to Islamic terrorists. They are going to try to arrest and jail them again.
All this does is show our enemy weakness, which is what encourages them to attack. It emboldens them. This is going to make us less safe and encourage future attacks. Again, Obama is showing his naïveté in a dangerous new world. They want to kill us no matter what we do. This is what they have said to us. So, I would say take their word for it and not take them lightly.
That means we need to stay on the offensive and stay on a war stance, not cower behind some new Political correct words.

The end of the Global War on Terror -- or at least the use of that phrase -- has been codified at the Pentagon. Reports that the phrase was being retired have been circulating for some time amongst senior administration officials, and this morning speechwriters and other staff were notified via this e-mail to use "Overseas Contingency Operation" instead.
"Recently, in a LtGen [John] Bergman, USMC, statement for the 25 March [congressional] hearing, OMB required that the following change be made before going to the Hill," Dave Riedel, of the Office of Security Review, wrote in an e-mail. "OMB says: 'This Administration prefers to avoid using the term "Long War" or "Global War on Terror" [GWOT]. Please use "Overseas Contingency Operation.'"Riedel asked recipients to "Please pass on to your speech writers and try to catch this change before the statements make it to OMB."
An OMB spokesman took issue with the interpretation of OMB's wishes. "There was no memo, no guidance," said Kenneth Baer. "This is the opinion of a career civil servant."
Referring to the phrase "global war on terror," Baer said, "I have no reason to believe that would be stricken" from Hill testimony.
By way of history, senior Bush administration officials several years ago wanted to stop using the phrase and switch to something many felt might better reflect the realities of the fight against international terrorism.
One leading option was to change the name to GSAVE, or Global Struggle Against Violent Extremism. This was not as catchy an acronym as GWOT, but officials felt it more accurately described the battle. Then-Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld even used the GSAVE abbreviation publicly.
But, in a White House meeting, President Bush ruled that it was still a war for him, and Rumsfeld and everyone else went back to GWOT.

Obama's Approval Rating is Now 50-50
It is still amazing to see how far Obama’s star has fallen, since Inauguration. Granted, Obama has trashed the dollar, spent the country into bankruptcy, destroyed the Democratic Party, and then there are the public gaffes.
He sent a letter to the wrong French President, the "overpriced" button to Russia, the comment on Leno, his actions on”60 Minutes,” and the list goes on and on. I have not even gotten to his foreign diplomacy blunders. After all this, no wonder his approval rating has plummeted.
According to Jules Crittenden:
"Zogby poll due out in the morning will be reporting the Obama admin’s latest grim milestone. As many people don’t like him as do. Boston Herald:
The honeymoon is over, a national poll will signal tomorrow as President Obama’s job approval stumbles to about 50 percent over the lack of improvement with the crippled economy.
The sobering numbers come as the president backpedals from two prime-time gaffes - one comparing his bowling score to a Special Olympian and another awkwardly laughing about the economy, which prompted Steve Kroft of “60 Minutes” to ask “are you punch-drunk?”
Pollster John Zogby said his poll out in the morning will show Americans split on the president’s performance. He said the score factors out to “about 50-50.”
Some polls show Obama coasting with a 65 percent job approval, but not in Zogby’s tally.
“The numbers are going down,” Zogby told the Herald. “It’s not because of the gaffes, but a combination of high expectations and that things aren’t moving fast enough with the economy.”
Maybe, but the vast presidential gaffe repository Obama is amassing can’t be helping. The guy’s only been in 60-odd days and he’s tripped more than Ford.*
As for the president’s love of the limelight, it could backfire, according to a media watcher.
“I thought he overexposed himself weeks ago,” said Tobe Berkovitz, associate dean of Boston University’s College of Communication.
“I wonder when the public will say ‘Instead of being in front of the camera, be in front of a spreadsheet.’ ”
To judge by Falcone’s reaction, soon, if not already. But we won’t know until the media organizes itself to do some gaffe polling. What’s the holdup?

He sent a letter to the wrong French President, the "overpriced" button to Russia, the comment on Leno, his actions on”60 Minutes,” and the list goes on and on. I have not even gotten to his foreign diplomacy blunders. After all this, no wonder his approval rating has plummeted.

The honeymoon is over, a national poll will signal tomorrow as President Obama’s job approval stumbles to about 50 percent over the lack of improvement with the crippled economy.
The sobering numbers come as the president backpedals from two prime-time gaffes - one comparing his bowling score to a Special Olympian and another awkwardly laughing about the economy, which prompted Steve Kroft of “60 Minutes” to ask “are you punch-drunk?”
Pollster John Zogby said his poll out in the morning will show Americans split on the president’s performance. He said the score factors out to “about 50-50.”
Some polls show Obama coasting with a 65 percent job approval, but not in Zogby’s tally.
“The numbers are going down,” Zogby told the Herald. “It’s not because of the gaffes, but a combination of high expectations and that things aren’t moving fast enough with the economy.”
Maybe, but the vast presidential gaffe repository Obama is amassing can’t be helping. The guy’s only been in 60-odd days and he’s tripped more than Ford.*
As for the president’s love of the limelight, it could backfire, according to a media watcher.
“I thought he overexposed himself weeks ago,” said Tobe Berkovitz, associate dean of Boston University’s College of Communication.
“I wonder when the public will say ‘Instead of being in front of the camera, be in front of a spreadsheet.’ ”
To judge by Falcone’s reaction, soon, if not already. But we won’t know until the media organizes itself to do some gaffe polling. What’s the holdup?

Obama Wants to Regulate Salaries
On Drudge, there is the headline, “Regulate!”
Obama wants to regulate executive pay of for all financial institutions, Wall Street firms, and other companies. This move could bankrupt an entire city.
“The new rules will cover all financial institutions, including those not now covered by any pay rules because they are not receiving federal bailout money. Officials say the rules could also be applied more broadly to publicly traded companies, which already report about some executive pay practices to the Securities and Exchange Commission.”
So, Obama now wants to control the salaries of executives of companies. He has commented that these CEOs and other executives receive too much money and are too wealthy.
Who is he to tell us who is too wealthy and gets paid too much? He is the government and hearing that from him is chilling. This something you would hear out of Communist Russia or China.
If they can “regulate” their salaries, who is next? Well, with their attempt at targeting the AIG bonuses has shown, anybody is next, including you. Remember what Thomas Jefferson said, “A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have.”
The government has been giving certain people everything with entitlements, bailouts, and the like. Now, it is time for the government to start taking something back. When the People give the government the power to do something, the People lose control over it. They lose that right or freedom.
By opening the door to these bailouts, the government took control over these companies and they lost their freedoms. The government, as it always does, is now expanding their power from the companies they control to all of them.
So, what is going to happen to these companies, if the government regulates their salaries? Well, the worst scenario is all the talent that would have taken these jobs will go elsewhere to find better salaries. So, the place that the economy needs the best talent at the most crucial time would not have it.
The other scenario, which is the most likely, is what happened in the 90s when Clinton regulated executive salaries. He made it that only up to $1 million of executive salary could be a tax deduction. Anything above that could not be deducted as a business expense. The strategy was that these companies would not pay as much. Fat chance.
This gave birth to the stock option and the executive compensation was still high. The market found a creative way to compensate the best talent to stay competitive and still get the tax deduction.
So, Obama’s plan will just force the market to find another creative way to circumvent the government and still compensate the best talent to stay competitive.
Now, there is always the unintended consequence to Liberal policies. What could be the problem here?
Remember a few weeks ago when New York City Mayor Bloomberg was going to create a bunch of new taxes but then suddenly stopped. He reported that they could not raise all the taxes, because it would scare off the taxpayers of NYC. It was revealed that only 40,000 of the over 8 million people of NYC pay the taxes for the entire city. If those 40,000 would leave, NYC would lose their entire tax base.
Who makes up that 40,000 that pay taxes, you may ask? It is not taxi cab drivers, waiters, and bellhops. It is not managers, salespeople, or accountants. Could it be executives of major companies, financial institutions, and Wall Street firms? Why, yes.
Good job, Obama. You lied and the economy died. Now, you regulate and eradicate, an entire city.

The "Obama Youth" Bill Passes the House
Obama’s transformation of America continues. As the media is following the dog and pony show of AIG, Dodd, Frank, and Geinther, the House has passed a bill that will launch Obama's national service programs. By the request at Atlas Shurgs, I am passing on this story (spread the word on this) and its “disturbing” language, mainly the word “MANDATORY.”

The House passed a bill yesterday which includes disturbing language indicating young people will be forced to undertake mandatory national service programs as fears about President Barack Obama’s promised “civilian national security force” intensify.
The Generations Invigorating Volunteerism and Education Act, known as the GIVE Act, was passed yesterday by a 321-105 margin and now goes to the Senate.
Under section 6104 of the bill, entitled “Duties,” in subsection B6, the legislation states that a commission will be set up to investigate, “Whether a workable, fair, and reasonable mandatory service requirement for all able young people could be developed, and how such a requirement could be implemented in a manner that would strengthen the social fabric of the Nation and overcome civic challenges by bringing together people from diverse economic, ethnic, and educational backgrounds.”
Section 120 of the bill also discusses the “Youth Engagement Zone Program” and states that “service learning” will be “a mandatory part of the curriculum in all of the secondary schools served by the local educational agency.”
“The legislation, slated to cost $6 billion over five years, would create 175,000 “new service opportunities” under AmeriCorps, bringing the number of participants in the national volunteer program to 250,000. It would also create additional “corps” to expand the reach of volunteerism into new sectors, including a Clean Energy Corps, Education Corps, Healthy Futures Corps and Veterans Service Corps, and it expands the National Civilian Community Corps to focus on additional areas like disaster relief and energy conservation,” reports Fox News.
The Senate is also considering a similar piece of legislation known as the “Serve America Act,” which also includes language about “Youth Engagement Zones”.

Unhappy Moderate Democrats Begin to Revolt
On NewsMax, there is this story, “Obama Faces Revolt From His Own Party.” Apparently, the Obama/Pelosi/Reid agenda does not set well with the entire party.
"Democrats also have more moderate and more conservatives in their ranks and more issues that will divide them," said Andrew Taylor, a political science professor at North Carolina State University. "It's the cost of doing business."
This quote shows that these radical policies are beating up the Blue Dogs and other more moderate Democrats. In order for them to get re-elected or at least to get their phones to stop ringing needs to distance themselves from of the most racial ideas. Cap and Trade is one along with Card Check.
If you consider the united Republican House and partially united Republican Senate and add some of these moderate Democrats, Obama’s agenda has a serious problem. He loses the filibuster proof Senate and the House becomes more difficult to pass bills as well. This means that these policies will need to be trimmed down and moderated for them to pass.
There is another problem these radical ideas and this revolt. As the policies began to fail, there won’t be any political cover for the Liberal Democrats. If the moderates bail on the Liberals and the Republicans stay united, there won’t be one conservative or moderate Congressmen name on any of these bills or policies. The political fallout for the Liberals in Congress will be enormous. They could not blame anyone but themselves. They will try but won’t be able to explain it away as in the past. They could lose large number of seats in 2010 and have their radical policies only to blame.
So, we need to keep pressuring our Congressmen that we are not happy with what is transpiring in Washington. It is working and we need not to let up. We may not be able to do anything about Obama until 2012, but we can make it hell for him while he is here.

Pay the AIG Bonuses
In the news, Republicans and Democrats are furious that AIG is paying $165 million in retention bonuses. On Fox News, “AIG to Hand Out Another $165M in Bonuses,” there is a through story that explains a lot of this issue.
It is time to make some readers angry. AIG must pay these bonuses. Why? If you read the letter from AIG chairman and CEO Edward Liddy to Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner you will understand what these bonuses where for and why they were offered. The main quote from the letter is:
Without these bonuses, “We cannot attract and retain the best and brightest talent to lead and staff the AIG businesses which are now being operated on behalf of the American taxpayers.”
These were CONTRACTS that were offered to employees of AIG were to meet certain fulfillments of these contracts. The employees met the requirement and earned their money. According to the most basic contract law, AIG must pay these merit bonuses.
Add this caveat to this issue. What happens to AIG, if they do not pay these bonuses? What will these employees do? What would you do? First, they will sue in court for AIG to enforce these contracts. They should win and probably will. Second, they will quit.
Now, who owns 80% of AIG? You do. Yes, the United States taxpayer own 80% of AIG. How will AIG operate without their best talent? They won’t. Their performance will plummet and they will not be able to pay back the loans they took from us. Bites doesn’t it? You bet it does.
To make matters worse, yes, it gets worse. Now, let’s look back to TARP. If you read it, you probably didn’t, don’t worry Congress didn’t either. There is nothing in the legislation that tells AIG or the government how uses this money. When the government gave AIG the money, there were NOT any strings attached. AIG could do what it wanted with the money to stay afloat.
Therefore, it is not AIG’s fault; it is Congress’s for not putting strings on the money. It is the fault of the government, not AIG. But, this is what government does. They mess up and then blame everyone else but the actual cause, themselves.
Also, AIG and banks are sending money overseas to foreign investments and banks. Guess what? We cannot do anything about that either, because there weren’t string attached.
So, as Obama, Geithner, and Barney Frank act like “indian givers” and try to tell AIG how to spend the money, AIG is going to pay the bonuses, because they have to according to the contacts. This should be a lesson to companies taking money from the government, and for the government lending money to companies. As we know, they won’t learn and this is only the beginning.

The Betrayal of America's Left
There was a great post on TownHall.com, “The "Judas syndrome"...why liberals love to betray America” that gives a great history of Liberals and their betrayals of America.
This shows that today’s type of Liberalism has been a thorn in America’s side since 1930s. Keep in mind that Woodrow Wilson during the 1910s was much worse with bringing on the Income Tax, revolutionizing our academia, and beginning the idea for what would be the United Nations, naming only a few things. I could write an entire post on Wilson and how he was beginning of the Socialist Liberal in America, but I digress.
This type of Liberal not only brought on everything that is mentioned in the TownHall.com piece but also assaulted us domestically. FDR revered Mussolini, Hitler, and Stalin before WWII because of their incredible economies, well-run industries (socialized), and apparently efficient societies. There was a monument in NYC to idolize Mussolini, well, until WWII. The Left, including FDR, was part of this admiration until it was discovered what all them were doing to their people, such as the Holocaust and gulags in Siberia.
There can be a case made that all of FDR’s social programs began the idea that the government could do all these things for the People and the assault of personal responsibility began. The assault of the wealthy class that we see today began under FDR, as well, and he used this along with his social programs to try to create a new country (sound familiar). FDR did not waste his crisis and reengineered America He socialized part of it.
Not only was FDR a Socialist nightmare, but then LBJ came along and put FDR’s programs on steroids. His “Great Society” programs attempted to fight poverty and reengineer America. LBJ gave us programs like Medicare, Medicaid, federal education funding, Head Start, National Endowment for the Arts and National Endowment for the Humanities, Public Radio and Television, uraban mass transit, and so much more.
All it did was create an entire class of people dependent on the government, which won’t, could, but won’t try to better themselves, because the government will tend to their needs. Personal responsibility took a huge hit with these programs and Liberalism changed America again during another social crisis, the civil rights movement and riots.
I could go on but the point is made. When America faced crises, Liberals took the moment to attempt to save America but at the same time change it. Socialize it. Take some freedom and liberty away. Betray its principle and values. Reagan, a Conservative, did the opposite. He saved America during a crisis and gave it back some of its freedom, liberty, and principles.
So, now we have Obama and today’s crises. Again, the Liberals are trying to save America and try to change it. They are trying to socialize it. They are trying to take liberties and freedoms away. Amazing, how we repeat history when we don’t learn it. The TownHall.com piece shows all the foreign policy blunders while this shows many of the domestic ones. All in all, Liberalism betrays American principles and values and has been doing it for a long time.
The following are snippets of examples from the TownHall.com post of how so many of Liberals’ actions have affected the course of American history and betrayed America and her interests:
”Neville Chamberlain was your classic liberal appeaser. He had served as British Minister of Health from 1924 to 1929. After he become Prime Minister in1937, he too surmised Hitler as invincible, and called for an appeasement foreign policy, culminating in the signing of the infamous Munich Pact in 1938, selling out Czechoslovakia to Germany, and along with that --the Skoda Works.
The Munich pact enabled Hitler to realize his most coveted European objective-- Czechoslovakia's famed Skoda Works. It was the worlds largest armaments factory; it produced heavy guns for the Nazi navy; heavy mortars and the fearsome M-42 machine guns for the Wermacht (German army), as well as locomotives, aircraft, ships, machine tools, steam turbines, and equipment for Germany's power utilities.
In October of 1977, Turner decided to curb many of the clandestine practices that had brought the CIA much of its criticism from the liberal members in Congress, which were led by Idaho Senator Frank Church. In the" Halloween Massacre" of '77, Turner circulated an Oct 31st photocopied memo informing 800 CIA staffers (mostly Republicans) of their dismissal. To the joy and disbelief of our enemies, word spread quickly around the spy community that the U.S. had decided to delegate its intelligence priorities to non-human means, such as satellite observations and listening posts.
It has been noted by many historians that..."Stansfield Turner has been the single worst senior appointment in US history... and..."In eliminating virtually all human intelligence on the ground, he put the U.S. at a strong disadvantage, especially in the Middle East and Afghanistan."
Whatever his intentions, what Carter (and Turner) accomplished amounted to aiding and abetting the enemy, which resulted in our humiliation in Iran in the 1979 hostage crisis, the Russian war in Afghanistan in 1980, and the bombing of our marines’ barracks in Lebanon in 1982
And thanks to the liberal insanity of Jimmy Carter's dismantling of the CIA, we’ve lost control of our destiny in the Middle East-- giving impetus to the revival of Islamic fundamentalism-- which ultimately gave rise upon the world's stage to all of Islam's most infamous stars...Khomeini, Arafat, bin-Laden, Akmadinejad, and untold others -- including the 20 airliner hijackers who were responsible for 9-11.”

Venezuela and Cuba offers airbases for Russian long-range bombers
Breaking new from AP and on Yahoo News, the headline reads, “Report: Cuba, Venezuela could host Russian bombers “
According to the AP, Venezuela has offered an island to Russia for an airbase for their long-range bombers. The disturbing revelation is in the following:
“Zhikharev said Chavez had offered "a whole island with an airdrome, which we can use as a temporary base for strategic bombers," the agency reported. "If there is a corresponding political decision, then the use of the island ... by the Russian Air Force is possible."
Interfax reported he said earlier that Cuba has air bases with four or five runways long enough for the huge bombers and could be used to host the long-range planes.”
Yes, Cuba has offered airbases as well. So, Russian bombers could be stationed less than 100 miles from the U.S.
This sure does sounds familiar. Let me pick up my trusty history book that Liberal do not read and see what I can find. Oh yes, in the 1960s, the United States elected an untested, young Liberal President named John Kennedy. Eventually, after the failed operation of the Bay of Pigs (which was the U.S. supported then not supported) attempted to squash the rebellion led by Castro, U.S.S.R. tested the leadership of Kennedy and put nuclear weapons in Cuba. Thus, the Cuban Missile Crisis began. The U.S. and U.S.S.R. came the closet to nuclear war more than any other time in history. Eventually, the crisis was averted after concessions made by the U.S. to remove missiles from Turkey and then U.S.S.R removed their missiles from Cuba.
So, what does all this posturing mean by Russia? They attacked Georgia last year. Russia threatens the Western Bloc countries and Europe with cutting of heating oil. They aid and support Iran with their nuclear program. They have befriended Venezuela. Now, they are planning to put bombers in Cuba and Venezuela.
This should concern the U.S. and their allies, especially with a naïve, diplomatically inapt President. Obama and Hillary Clinton have proved themselves to be unprepared and incompetent, since Inauguration. Russia may see a chance to push their influence into South America and return to Cuba.
This could be disastrous for the U.S especially with the intentions Russia has with Iran, unknown and not trusted. Having bombers this close could be power grab or worse.
With history repeating itself, right before our eyes, we need to be vigilant that we do not make the same mistakes we made in the 1960s. By making concession with U.S.S.R. in the 1960s, we showed a great deal of weakness and lost influence in the Middle East by removing missiles in Turkey. We conceded although Russia escalated the crisis with the missiles. Also, we did create the whole diplomatic blunder by intervening in Cuba’s revolution and then not support them, which allowed Castro and Che Guevara to take power.
Obama needs to show strong leadership and strength or Russia will just push him around again. It is one thing if he loses a diplomatic bout concerning countries half the way around the world. It is something completely different when it is in our own backyard.
This could determine whom controls and influences South America for the coming years. Again, history is repeating itself. I remember Reagan having the problem and he took care of it with leadership through strength.
Let’s see if Obama can. He must for all of our sakes.

Carville Said He Wanted Bush to Fail on 911
On Fox News, the story, "Flashback: Carville Wanted Bush to Fail.” Apparently, on the morning of 911, Carville was having a meeting and said that he did not want Bush to succeed. Only after the attacks began, Carville said, “Disregard everything we just said! This changes everything!"
This does change everything doesn’t it?
It is perfectly ok to say this about Bush during two wars. It was ok to attack his leadership during Katrina. It was ok to undermine him in some many other areas. Also, ignore the fact that in 2006, 51 percent of Democrats wanted Bush to fail, according to a FOX News/Opinion Dynamics poll. It only was a problem when 3,000 innocent Americans died in a terrorist attack. What a hypocrite!
Keep this in mind that it is perfectly okay for Carville to scheme with the White House during conference calls to attack private citizens, like Rush Limbaugh and others. This is completely Stalinist.
But, it is not okay to say we want Socialistic policies to fail. It is not okay to say there is something wrong with supporting Capitalism, freedom, and liberty. It is not okay address Obama’s competency when he cannot pick cabinet heads that are not corrupt and must read from teleprompters and not have an independent thought in a press conference.
It is a problem to criticize Obama’s policies, faulty political moves, and lack of leadership skills, even if we are right. In that case, I want to be on the record. “I want him Obama to fail! I want his policies to fail. I want Capitalism, freedom, liberty.”
Guess what? I do not need to change my principles or values due to current circumstances or who is President. I stand behind the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence and all they stand for yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Can Carville, Democrats and the like say that? Obviously not!

China Understands Capitialism more than Obama
On Bloomberg, this story “China February Auto Sales Rise 25% After Tax Cuts” explains what China did to improve their slumping economy. They cut taxes!
It is a strange new world when a Communist country understands free market (Capitalist) principles more than the freest nation in the world. This is not the first time China has used free market principles to improve their economy, by the way. They steal more than nuclear technology from us, but I digress.
So, the U.S. is increasing taxes and regulations on, not only our car companies, energy and other companies, to lower our debt from our spending that was to improve the economy. This obviously is not working. China just cuts taxes and auto sales soar 25%. What is wrong with this picture!?
Now, it has been said that Obama and the Democrats should look to Bush, Reagan, Kennedy, and Harding for ideas to improve our economy not to mention Milton Friedman and Adam Smith. Well…I can’t believe I going to say this…maybe Obama should look to Communist China for some tips? If they can cut taxes and improve things, it might work here.
After saying that, I going to look for the rabbit hole I just fell through and try to find a lost little girl and tardy rabbit to lead me back to reality and have some tea with the Mad Hatter. This just proves where ever and when ever free market principles are tried, even in Communist countries, they ALWAYS work.

Obama Unleashes ACORN
On Breitbart.com, there is this story, “Obama musters campaign army for economic fight.” Apparently, since Obama is losing the PR war, with of all people Rush Limbaugh, and with others jumping ship, like Jim Cramer, Maureen Dowd, Warren Buffet, and David Brooks, Obama has turned up his campaign machine.
Obama has sent out emails and has released a video calling on his supporters to lobby for his budget and economic plans. In the video, Mitch Stewart, the director of "Organizing for America" says:
"The pledge project is an ambitious effort to map out and identify support for President Obama's economic blueprint across towns and communities in America," Stewart said.
"We're doing that by asking people to pledge your support for the broad initiatives outlined in President Obama's economic plan.
"Once you do, we will ask you to build support in your own communities by forwarding this pledge by email, by knocking on doors and by making phone call," he said.
"We will show in every state, in every congressional district the hunger, for leadership and long range thinking that's in too short supply here in Washington."
“It addresses three of the most pressing challenges facing our nation: health care, energy and education," he said.
"That's the good news. The bad news is that as a result the special interests and the old habits in Washington will dig in even more.
"It's up to you to make sure that they don't stand in our way.
"By pledging and building support you will be taking the first steps towards establishing a nationwide grassroots network, neighborhood by neighborhood, standing side by side with President Obama as we bring about our agenda for change."
All of Obama’s campaign army will be attacking talk radio shows, blogs, Congressman, and anyone who they can influence or intimidate with Obama’s talking points.
Well, you know what thing means. This means war!
It is time for Conservatives to stand up to this intimidation and overwhelming attacks on the media and government by these grassroots, community, and special interest organizations. We must speak up and be louder than them. We outnumber them. It is time for us to put these radicals in their place.
Also, this shows that the Conservative message and the populist uprising all over the nation has Obama and his handlers scared. As I said, Obama is losing the PR war with talk radio and other Conservatives, so he is unleashing his "disciples" to try to squash this dissent. This will not work.
This is not only risky for Obama but chilling, as an American that a President is calling on his “supporters” to spread his agenda. The dissent all over the nation against these policies is palpable and now Obama is unleashing groups to counter this movement. The backlash against Obama’s disciples, the Democrats, and Obama could be huge. This type of radical move could prove to the moderate American that Obama is the true radical many think he is.
Again, Obama is proving to the rest of America how radical he is and proving how right Conservatives were about Obama and his Marxist tendencies.

The White House assaults media figures
In the past few weeks during his daily press conferences, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs has called out a few media figures, such as Rick Santelli, Jim Cramer, and Rush Limbaugh. This corresponds with Obama’s attacks on Sean Hannity during the election and Obama telling Congressmen not to listen to Rush Limbaugh. Also, Maureen Dowd got a stern talking to from Obama during the primary after she commented on Obama’s ears of all things.
It has become quite apparent Obama and the White House has taken some issue with leading media figures who disagree with them. It seems Obama lacks the thick skin a politician must have to survive in Washington. He is in the wrong business if he cannot take some criticism. Apparently his narcissism is showing again.
The fact that Gibbs has called out people by name is disturbing. Yes, the Bush Administration at times attacked the NY Times and other media outlets for their misleading articles and leaked stories that were detrimental to national security, but they attacked the media outlet, not the private citizen who wrote them. Attacking these private citizens, who are not public officials, from the bully pulpit is intimidation and plain despotic and oppressive. This is something Lenin did in Russia and Chavez is doing now in Venezuela.
The freedom of the press is at the cornerstone of our Republic and part of our founding. Pamphleteers spread the word of Thomas Paine, Samuel Adams, Benjamin Franklin, and others about freedom, liberty, and rejection of oppression of King George. These words fanned the flames of freedom and motivated the colonies to rise up against England.
The press is one of the checks and balances against the tyranny of the State. It has been said that the press is supposed to be the watchdog over the government. It is their job to criticize the government and its leaders, so Obama and Gibbs better “man up” and be able to take some criticism.
Federal Court Judge Murray I. Gurfein of Nixon fame said, “A cantankerous press, an obstinate press, a ubiquitous press, must be suffered by those in authority in order to preserve the right of the people to know.”
He was right. The government must tolerate credible, fair, and honest attacks from the press, because the press’s job is to preserve our freedoms and keep the government in check and not allow them to abuse their power. That is what Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Rick Santelli, Jim Cramer, Maureen Dowd, David Brooks, and so many more are doing. They are putting Obama in his place and telling him and the government that they have overreached their power and breached their trust with the American citizens.
By attacking them by name is intimidation and something out a fascist’s playbook. They are overreaching their power once again, which makes the citizenry wary and uneasy. Anyone in the government loses credibility in the eyes of the public when they intimidate private citizens. Not only has Gibbs and Obama embarrassed themselves in how they have treated these people in the media but lost their integrity and trustworthiness with the People.
If the White House continues these petty, amateurish barbs with the media, all they do is undermine their ability to lead our nation and empower the media to keep attacking them, justifiably, in self-defense of their profession and defense of our freedoms and liberties.
