A Letter about the Home Land Security Memo

I have been quite busy writing letters lately. This is letter I wrote to my Congressmen about the Home Land Security memo that we are all aware of. Please borrow some of it or all of it. Write your representatives and tell them how you feel. It really makes a difference.

Here it the letter:

I have read the memo from Home Land Security and I am APPALLED! The government is calling its own citizens "radicals" and "terrorists." The same government that won't call fundamentalist Muslims terrorists are now calling their own People terrorists. They won't call the Taliban terrorists, but they will call my family, church members, friends, fellow workers, neighbors, and ME a "radical" and "terrorist." What makes this even more disgusting is that the memo insults our soldiers who fought for our country, liberty, and freedoms.

Now, where is the outrage from you, sir? This memo makes great men like Madison, Jefferson, Lincoln, Reagan, FDR, Eisenhower, Truman, Jackson, Kennedy, Franklin, Adams, and so many others who believe in the U.S. Constitution and the Declaration of Independence out to be "radicals." The same people that have read Tocqueville, Locke, Hume, Plato, Aristotle, and other philosophers are now enemies of the State. We and they are not "radicals." Sir, we are Americans. We are free and have the right granted by Natural Law or our Creator to express our views, especially if they differ from the tyranny of an unjust government and stand up for our freedom and liberty. It is the People's responsibility and duty to do so. It is yours as well.

So, I wonder where your outrage about such statement made by Home Land Security is? There is no other statement acceptable from you other than outrage. There is nothing that can be said by you or anyone from the Executive Branch to defend such outrageous statements of calling American soldiers and citizens "radicals" and "terrorists" for certain political views which are our right to have. It should not matter that these views are from the Left or the Right. We are free to believe what we will as long as it does not infringe on others' rights. The views discussed in the memo do not infringe on anyone rights. What these groups are exposing are American values and principles, not radical or terrorist views. Keep in mind, if the statements in the memo attacked your views you should be outraged, so why anyone else are's any different. According to the Constitution, they are not and you swore to uphold it.

Please stand up for the People and their right to express themselves without the fear of the tyranny of government power.

We need to tell these hubris politicans how we feel about what they are saying and doing. We have the natural right. It is our responsibility as citizens. This is the People's Republic, not the government's.
